Thank you, Nick Nicolas, for providing wine at every table.
Thank you, Deb and Liz Bingaman for handling the welcome table. It’s a lot more work than it looks, and you did it so well!
Thank you, Barbara Holden, for leading us around the room so that each person could tell something about themselves. People are so interesting, and our class is especially so.
Now we know…
- Pat Guillen Martinelli and her husband David Martinelli (both graduated with us and met as seniors!) love Mexican folkloric dance. Pat even runs a program for about 400 participants. They will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this year.
- Joe Imbriani has had a secret desire to be a teacher.
- Steve Minkin absolutely loves-loves-loves jazz music. He doesn’t play, but he enjoys being with other jazzy people and has been taking a class at Canada College in Redwood City for more than 10 years.
- Marilyn Alarcon wore her Westmoor ’69 class ring. It’s still as outstanding as ever.Linda Pascucci Harris traveled from Colorado to attend our reunion.
- Keith Winikoff flew his own plane from Burbank to attend our reunion.
- Rose (Rosa Gomez) Pollard-Sclendering flew up from Arizona to attend our reunion. She flew home the same day, too.
- Paul Bromley had a tough time getting to SFO due to his flight being delayed on our reunion day. He made it, though, and we were thrilled to see him. He also went home to the L.A. area afterwards.
- Liz and Deb (Bingaman) Moe, drove up from Fresno, a four-hour drive, and arrived just in time to take over the welcome table.
- Donna Case does line and square dancing regularly. She looks great for it, too.
- Liz Bingaman has great-grandchildren!
- Maureen Allen Fish is an enrolled agent, which means she processes hundreds of business and personal tax returns every year.
- Ralph Hutchens and wife Noreen not only have three sons, but three cats, too! They enjoy fixing up their Daly City home and winning at bingo, too.
- Paul Smith hails from Columbia in the Sonora area these days. What a surprise when Marilyn Alarcon said she just moved from Columbia, California!
- Many, many people are proud of their families and have led happy lives. Our classmates live all over the place, including the Sacramento area, around Napa, in Oregon, Missouri (I believe I heard that)–and that’s just those who attended!

An after-party was held at the Doubletree Hilton in So. San Francisco, led by Nick. It included Nick, Steve Minkin, Paul Bromley, Liz Bingaman, Deb Bingaman and her husband Steve Moe. There were others; if you were there, let me know.

Why do we need to put them here in our website if we already have them on Facebook? Great question! Facebook entries “scroll away.” At some point, there were will be several other entries to our group page, and we will no longer easily see the photos and comments from our 2024 reunion. In the website (westmoor1969.com), everything is organized and PERMANENT. It won’t scroll away or disappear until we decide we don’t want a website anymore. Ask me if you have any questions.
