Louise Giusto: Kathy was a super special person. We had a heart to heart talk at the 50th when my asthma was keeping seated in one spot. Her dad worked for the Royal Bakery in the Excelsior, and my dad had a biz relationship with them, so we both had a never ending supply of focaccia, pan dulce, and French bread. My dad fed a lot of it to the birds on our front lawn every morning. He got in a lot of trouble from the city for doing so. Rest in Peace, Kathy, you’re the Best.
